Rogue Maid Gigastructures Patch
This micromod fixes the problem of certain habitable Gigastrutures (The ones that have the ‘High Density Scaling’ Deposit) crashing the economy into the ground when playing the Rogue Maids mod by Taldarin.
EXPLANATION:
in vanilla, bio trophies produce +1% complex drone output. Now, frameworld is a gigastructures origin that puts you on a single world that you keep on growing forever and ever. You cannot colonize anywhere else. That’s the extremely short version of it.
This also applies to some other gigastructures as well, such as the Birch World, and PKI’s restructured Flusion.
…One can imagine how bonkers this can get. And in the old days, it really did. So much that they (the giga devs) had to introduce a counterbalance to reduce the complex drone output relative to the amount of biotrophies you have. This is the ‘High Density Scaling’ deposit, which among other things.
This is all well and good.
However, the problem occurs when Taldarin’s Rogue Maids is thrown into the mix. Rogue Maids removes the +1% complex drone output modifier in exchange for its own system, and instead bio trophies produce edict fund.
This results in the High Density Scaling deposit trying to compensate for a system that isn’t there, and instead of balancing out complex drone output like it should, it simply crashes it straight into the ground instead.
This patch attempts to fix this in a quick and dirty fashion by editing the deposit and changing the multiplier concerning bio-trophy related Complex Drone Output to 0, thus removing that part of the modifer entirely.
This can be considered a temporary fix as the author of Rogue Maids has been notified of this problem, and hopefully a more comprehensive fix will be included with it in the near future.
