Vanilla flavoured tweaks
I like tinkering in games like this, it’s part of the fun for me. Thus, the mod is a work in progress, with the intent of giving some more flavor to aspects of the game, mainly civics and authorities, without excessively deviating from vanilla.

– Land of Opportunity xenophile edict: pop growth from migration 25>10
Crusader Spirit:
– Now only requires spiritualist.
– Incompatible with sovereign guardianship, beacon of liberty, pacifism.
– Gains +50% spiritualist ethics attraction.
– Effect tooltip now states effects of the civic on opinion modifiers.
– Opinion modifiers increased: -80>-200 for not sharing the exact same set of ethics. 20>200 for sharing exact same set of ethics.
– Can now use unrestricted warfare. Liberation cb is always active against empires not sharing same ethics.
Beacon of Liberty:
– Gains +50% egalitarian ethics attraction.

Sovereign Guardianship (regular bio and corporate):
– Gains +50% militarist ethics attraction.
– Liberation cb are always active against non-fanatic pacifist empires.
– Liberated empires become fanatic pacifist and gain Agrarian Idyll and Police State civics.
– Imperialist Faction is replaced with Sovereigntist faction. Attracts pops of both militarist and pacifist ethics, counts as a militarist faction. Issues:
– Erosion of Sovereignity: -15, be a subject, member of the galactic community or in a federation, except being leader of the federation or being galactic emperor or custodian
– Sphere of Influence: +5/7.5/10, guarantee independence of 1/2/3 empires, requires meeting other empires to appear.
– Demilitarized Buffer States: -5/+5/10/15, have 0/1/2/3 fanatic pacifist empires as neighbors, requires meeting other empires to appear.
– Great Power: +10/-10, same demand as imperialist.
– Internal Security: +5/-5 No planet has Criminal Underworld modifier.
– +200 relations with fanatic pacifist empires
– -200 relations with non-fanatic pacifist empires.
Spiritualist:
– New Demand: Broken Traditions: -10. Embrace a faction/surrender a liberation war. Lasts 10/20 years and disables Dogma demands for the duration.

– Removed 0.5x attraction mult to xenophobe if there’s a free xeno species on the planet.
– Reduced attraction mult to xenophobe if there’s an enslaved species on planet from 2x to 1.2x. Now requires empire to be xenophobe to trigger.
Quick Learners: xp gain 10>15%
Overtuned Origin:
– Fleeting Excellence trait is now gated behind Targeted Gene Experessions tech.
– Gene Mentorship: xp gain 25>15
– Juiced Power now affects enforcer and soldier unity like Strong/Very Strong.
– Elevated Synapses: Leader Upkeep -25>-15, but bonus is now is doubled by the edict. Now is incompatible with Augmented Intelligence.
– Commercial Genious: 25>15% trade from jobs
– Damn the Consequences edict now has 45 base unity upkeep and behaves like normal edicts, but also imposes -20 leader lifespan while active. Lock in 60>120 months.
New Decisions: Immigration Incentives and Emigration Incentives. 100 CG cost. Adds +100 immigration pull/emigration pull and -100 emigration push/immigration pull, respectively. A planet with immigration incentives needs a planet with emigration incentives to get the migration pop growth. Can be canceled via another planet decision.
AI migration pacts acceptance -50>-1000
Nomad: pop growth from migration 15>10%
– Councilors effect on ethics attraction reverted to vanilla (halved)
– Thrall Worlds tech now has the same draw chance modifiers as Neural Implants (higher draw chance the more slaves there are).
Civics/Origins:
– Augmentation Bazaars: Now incompatible with spiritualist. Has Integrated Cybernetics guaranteed research option. Can pick flesh is weak as 1st or 2nd AP.
– Corporate Dynasty: Is now compatible with cybernetic creed origin
– Mechanists: Can now pick flesh is weak or synthetic evolution as 2nd AP. Penalty: forces Natural Engineers on the species.
– Warrior Culture: armies spawned by pops will now resettle with them.
– Pluralistic Foundation: Citizen happiness 10>5. +1 leader pool.
– Police State: Enforcer unity 3>2
Authorities:
– Democratic Communion: 30% resources from psionics/-20% resources from non-psionics changed to +10% resources from psionics/-20% non-psionic happiness.
– Swapped all +15-20% cyborg pop happiness modifiers from cyber advanced authorities to +5% cyborg pop resource output
Living Standards:
– Stratified living standard: Specialist happiness 5>0. Rulers living standard trade 0.5>1
– Dystopian: Rulers lving standard trade 0.5>1.5
– Shared burden: now has -10% pop amenities and housing usage.
Other Changes:
– Individualist free pops housing and amenities usage is now dependent on their living standards political power: 0.75+0.1*(living standard power modifier).
– Individualist positive amenities effect: max citizen happiness 20>10%, now grants up to +50% trade value from living standards.
– Thrall Worlds tech no longer has a 75% reduction in chance of being drawn if there’s no statecraft or curator councilor.
– Holy Immaculate Bastion building: Removed +1 armies per pop. Now grants a flat +15 defense armies on planet
– Enforcers: Crime -25>-20. Now produce 1 unity and cost 1 CG upkeep.
– Base slave living standard trade: 0.25>0.5
– Marketplace of better slaves tradition: slaves living standard trade 0.5>0.25
– Comfort of the fallen galcom resolution gives a flat +5% worker happiness instead of -10% unemployed happiness.
Traits:
– All base basic resources traits: points 2>1
– Strong/Very Strong: Very Strong 3>2. Army bonus 20/40> 25/50. Enforcers with the trait produce 0.5/1 unity, half for soldiers.
– Slow breeders: -2>-3, now is compatible with incubators, existential iteroparity, psychological infertility, budding
– Deviants: -1>-2 Gov ethics attraction -15>-20%
– Synth taste buds/Mimics event traits: happiness 5>2.5
– Decadent and Extravagant traits no longer suppress Egalitarian/Xenophile ethics
– Cave Dweller (bio): Habitability floor 50>70%
– Noxious: Renamed to Psychopaths. Has a brand new icon. Removed army and habitability effects. +10% amenities from jobs, +20% CG upkeep. Unhappiness to non-psycho pops per psycho -1>-2%
– New trait: Toxic. 2 points, toxoid species only. -20% habitability. +30% habitability floor. +50% army damage. Each Toxic pop increases Toxic pop habitability by 2% (max +50%) and decreases it by -1% for non-Toxic pops
