Crowded Galaxy
Map made mostly for my own personal use for the "knife fight in a phone booth" feel.
*Updated with more options, as some of you out there seem to like it*
Having more players blends well with the changes to system control introduced in 2.0, in that the galaxy "fills in" much faster the more players there are and you have a much busier time with diplomacy and war much sooner in the game. An addition bonus to have a higher than normal number of AI civilizations is that the amount of random civilizations generated for each game jumps well up, reducing the "Oh these guys again" interaction.
4 new map options, all with no empty center.
Original 5 map options also play without an empty center when choosing elliptical (so, not elliptical)
400 stars, 18 – 50 players
300 stars, 12 – 40 players
200 stars, 6 – 30 players
150 stars, 6 – 15 players
Recommend settings:
higher hyperlane settings
no primitives.
higher colonizable planets the smaller the galaxy
