Description:

UPDATED FOR 2.1.*

Now with Distant Stars support!

Features:
-All Leviathans and special systems from the Leviathans DLC and Distant Stars DLC have had their spawn rates nulled, meaning, theoretically, they have 100% chance of spawning.
-Ether Drake spawn rate increased to 3

NOTICES:
-I am doing a poll to determine whether or not to keep the spawn rate for Ether Drakes at 3.
Please see this link to record your opinion on the matter:

Current Results: 50.7 in favor of 3 Ether Drakes, 49.3 against

Description:
This is an extremely simple and amataur mod written by a guy who knows nearly nothing about coding…

But I followed a tutorial so that totally makes everything better.

Nonetheless, this mod, in the most simple summary, makes it so in every game, no matter the map size, all of the Leviathans and special systems within the Leviathans and Distant Stars DLCs will theoretically spawn; due to the spawn rates being nullified, forcing 100% spawn rate.

WARNING: Some event triggered leviathans have issues spawning. I.e. the Dimentional Horror. it requires a blackhole, and may spawn when a player enters a black hole system… I nulled its’ spawn rate, along with every leviathan, so it should theoretically spawn (so long as there’s a blackhole in the galaxy).

Story:
So I spend $10 for a awesome DLC that adds epic space monsters, start a new game, and boom… only two of them actually appeared in the whole game (1000 star galaxy too!).

So I searched the workshop far and wide in search of a mod that would fix this, allowing me to kill all of the leviathans without having to start a new game. But I could find nothing…

So I googled a tutorial on how to make a mod for Stellaris, and in about 15 minutes I scrapped this together. GG me.

Compatiblity:
-Nearly everything that does not edit the "distant_stars_initializers" or "leviathans_system_initializers" file.
-Mostly compatible with mods that add more galaxy sizes; although at smaller than "Small" galaxies, you may find one or two of the Leviathans missing due to there not being room for special systems.
-Compatible, as far as I can tell, with and without any of the DLC’s (except Leviathans and/or Distant Stars, one or both are required)
-Not fully save game compatible. Some event based leviathans may spawn, but I still recommend you start a new save upon activating this mod. It won’t cause issues if you play an old save with it, but it won’t spawn in leviathans that start at the beginning of a game.

Compatibility versions:

Please do tell me if you are finding that one of the Leviathans are not showing up.
-I am having issues with the Enigmatic Fortress not appearing, despite showing itself in the list of factions (while in observe mode). I have tried with and without my mod… so I am supposing something else is at work here that I don’t know about. Maybe it just doesn’t show as a entity inside a system like other fleets? Idk. Lemme know if you see it.

Thanks, and enjoy 😀

(BTW: A good way to test if my mod worked is to use the console command "observe," which will allow you to see everything in the map (save before doing so). To exit this mode, use the console command "play x" or, more preferably to avoid AI messing your Empire up, reload a save).

Disclaimer:

-This mod includes NO direct content from any of the DLCs, and will not fuction without the Leviathans DLC And/Or Distant Stars DLC installed. This mod only includes a single file of code, designed to manage spawn rates of guardians within the game. The file does not include any models or textures, nor will it add any functional features or scripts to a game without the Leviathans DLC or Distant Stars DLC. At most, it might create some errors in the logs.
