Crysis

All three crisis events occur during a single game. The starting condition for the first crisis event is identical to the Vanilla game. However, 50 years after the start of the first crisis another crisis may occur if the first crisis has been resolved. This will repeat another 50 years after the start of the second crisis for the third and final crisis.

The chance a crisis may occur will increase with every 50 years that have passed (after the endgame has started) in addition to the default Vanilla conditions.

Allows for multiple Khans (Marauder crisises) during a single game. A Khan may appear in a dormant Marauder country if no other Khan is alive. During the endgame this may happen when Void Dwellings are destroyed.

Compatibility

Should be compatible with all other mods except those that also overwrite the crisis trigger events.

Notes
  • Works with existing savegames.
  • This mod overwrites the Vanilla crisis_trigger_events event script.
  • Each crisis events will only occur once per game by default. It’s impossible to trigger an already occurred crisis event through this mod.
  • Every crisis country needs to be exterminated before a new crisis may occur.
  • Unless you use one of the below console commands only one crisis event will be active at any time.

Console commands
event crisis_trigger.2

Will immediately trigger a (random and not yet occurred) crisis event when using the command in the console. Entering this command more than once will result in another crisis starting. This can also be used to start a secondary or tertiary crisis event during another crisis event.

Alternatively it’s possible to trigger all three crisis events simultaneously using the above command in the console. This will result in all three crisis events starting immediately, excluding crisis events that have already occurred.

Will trigger a marauder crisis immediately as long as there’s a dormant marauder country in the galaxy.
