Milky Way Texture
I’ve been away from Stellaris since December 2016. I finally return to it and I discover that the galaxy map is ruined.
Colour me unimpressed. Maybe someone likes the new map texture though? Not me anyways.
I had the misfortune of not backing up my game before updating like I usually do. So I looked around for the old texture. So I searched the workshop for it, and I found it! But then I thought to myself, "The galaxy map of this game has never really blended very well with the background that comes with Aveliumar’s ‘Beautiful Universe v2.0’.
So I made this texture by cross referencing a high magnitude version of the Milky Way in Space Engine.
Aveliumar’s ‘Beautiful Universe v2.0’, phidinh6’s ‘Natural Spiral Galaxies’, my ‘System Border Scale’ and ButtJunkie’s ‘Clean Space’ are used in my Old screenshot.
