Crest Materials
Ever had the feeling that the options for flags are too limited, not just in shapes but colour? This simple mod expands on the base game flags but doing just that. With 3 new materials for each flag crest in the vanilla game your options are now endless. The current materials are currently Silver, Bronze and Dark Steel with more to come in future. Currently AI will spawn with them at the same rate as any base crest. Pirates will also occasionally choose one of the new colours however Crisis and Enclaves are not currently supported.
Currently includes a total of 543 new Crests for your flag. Amounting to 181 per material across the categories. I will add any future Crests that are added and if you’d like to see extensions for other flag mods I will look to get permission to add support. Planned to add more materials in future.
– Currently supports Verne 2.6.2 and should be compatible with any later versions unless Paradox ever decided to change format for the flag system (should be never).
– Currently compatible with any mod that does not use the organizational naming I’ve used within the folders which I hope would be all mods unless they perform a similar action.
– Supports Iron-man / Achievement Compatibility
This is my first mod (a simple one at that) and first in a planned series of mods / collection I’m calling Stellaris Extended. It will aim to improve various elements of Stellaris by adding additional content to juice up the game in all areas. Some will be Iron-man / Achievement compatible and others will not. They will all be standalone should you choose that you don’t want specific items or the achievement incompatible mods. I currently plan to add Background Music, Flag Backgrounds, Technologies, Ascension Perks, Buildings and many more. If you have ideas or suggestions please feel free to leave a comment or message me about them. Look out for future mods and in the mean time enjoy this small but I believe fun addition to the flags.
