With the 2.6.2 – Verne Stellaris update this mod also got its own big update. First of all, for those who don’t know this mod: BetterCheats adds, as the name suggests, cheats… a lot of them.
You can cheat almost everything, you can simply add energy credits or might as well awake a random fallen empire – its up to you.
The mod now supports cheating for AI and other players empires, as it was originally intended to.

In our latest update we also added a cheat-menu for planets, you can find it in the planetary decisions. It works for all celestial bodies within your borders.

We have a lot of funny and original descriptions for the individual cheats, made by Karotte313, so give them a look.

At the moment there are still some small design flaws in the mod, these will be fixed in future updates. We also removed the Ascension perk and Relict cheats for now because they only partially worked.

Q: I can’t find the menu!
A: The cheat menu can be opened from a edict, wich is located in the edicts tab. (and make sure the mod is activated in the pre-launch menu.)

Q: I can’t cheat in multiplayer!
A: Only the host is able to cheat in multiplayer, then he has to give other players the right to cheat.

Q: My Resources suddenly jumped to tremendously high negatives!
A: Sometimes if you use too many cheats and hit the highest possible gain in the game the number will turn negative. In order to combat this make sure you don’t use all the cheats on the highest tier all the time.

Q: I don’t see any effect!
A: Most cheats only take effect at the end of the month.

Q: Is it save game compatible?
A: Yes, it is.
