20. October 2019 – UPDATED: As there was so many AI bugs in 2.3.* i change this mod now to 2.4.* only.

19. October 2019 – UPDATED Ultimate-Galaxy-Balance for 2.4.* still works also for 2.1.* and 2.2.* and 2.3.* works for all Versions, also if it is not displayed as working, but it works.

12. July 2019 – UPDATED Ultimate-Galaxy-Balance for 2.3.3 still works also for 2.1.* and 2.2.* works for all Versions, also if it is not displayed as working, but it works.

STNH-Ultimate-Galaxy-Balance mod for STNH-Ultimate-Galaxy + ST: New Horizons mod!

Use this mod with the STNH-Ultimate-Galaxy main mod!

This balance mod is for the Ultimate-Galaxy map/scenario mod and mod mod the ST: New Horizons mod to balance it to work nicely with the large Ultimate-Galaxy map so the ST: New Horizons mod works fine with this large map/scenario.

BALANCE CHANGES:

6. April 2019 – I balanced the empire sprawl and moded it a bit to work better for large maps. Also the starbase cap was raised and the naval capacity cap was raised to fit the large map/scenario better.

Problem: On large maps with many star systems the empire sprawl will hit hard, i balanced the empire sprawl for Ultimate-Galaxy and added a natural decrease.

1. Empire sprawl map balanced. You get now:

+0 Empire sprawl from districts
+2 Empire sprawl from systems
+2 Empire sprawl from colonies
+2 Empire sprawl from branch offices
and
-0.25 Empire sprawl from pops!
(More pops = more ppl to support empire administration and to work against empire sprawl)

That meens your empire sprawl will decease naturaly when you get more pops, but only if you dont overexpand to fast! Overexpanding to fast will come at a price but it is possible now to inherit other empires and it is possible to expand and conquer the galaxy on a large map and own alot of star systems. But it takes time or cost you much. Also you can fight the empire sprawl with some techs and other stuff that is already in the ST: New Horizons mod or you can use the natural decease now if you get more pops and so more admin points again to get more room for your pops and expand further. Makes the large Ultimate-Galaxy map work better with the ST: New Horizons mod. 4000 Star systems needs a better balanced empire sprawl.

2. Starbase cap raised:

Starbase cap raised from 40 to 410 star bases.
The gamer can own now 410 starbases not 40 as maximum on this map.
(Outposts dont count to this cap)

3. Maximum naval capacity raised:

Naval capacity raised from 2500 to 25000.
The gamer can now have 25000 naval capacity as maximum on this map.

More balance changes to make the large Ultimate-Galaxy map to work even better with the main mod ST: New Horizons and make this Star-Trek Galaxy to boldly go where no one has gone before may come here soon…

(Ultimate-Galaxy works with this balance mod and without this balance mod)
