Description:

When Pdx introduced forced Hyper-Drive, Pdx introduced "Nerfed" version of it, requiring ships travel to "arrows" on the outer rim of the star-system, unlike old days hyperdrive travel where it can be done in anywhere in star-system. This is reason why not-so-hyper-drive is so slow in Stellaris 2.x because our ships waste tons of time moving within the star system.

Raising base speed of ships can be a simple solution to this issue, however this ruins fun of space battle as combat-speed is denounced long time ago, thus raising ship speed means combat being messed up.

This mod introduces few known tweaks to address such annoyance:

* Base Ship Speed is Dramatically Raised.
* Military Ship in combat gains reduced speed. (just like many other mod do, based on ship event.)
* Civilian Ships does not get combat speed penalty.

However, this mod also introduces further changes:

* FTL Windup is dramatically reduced
* windup increase due to being outside of empire is dramatically reduced.

* FTL speed is no longer based on windup, but based on hyperline travel time (speed within those "lines")
* Base Hyperline Travel Speed is reduced to counter balance early game speed improvement.
* Upgrading Drive will waive this speed penalty.

* All Drive have very very small Jump Drive Range.
* However, for military ships, jump range is too small in early game, thus it is quite far off from meaningful jump drive.
* Science Ship gains Jump Range bonus and they actually can use those jump in early game.

* Emergency FTL Min Cooldown is reduced to 14, from punishing 30 of vanilla.
* Science ship has exclusive buff that reduces Emergency FTL min CD, making it far less likely to boom randomly.

* Civilian Ships and Transports have its own combat computers, making them far less annoying to manage.

* Starbase cap is raised, and cap from pops are also raised.

Note:

Using mods that improves cost of defense platforms can improve warfare balance dramatically. This mod raises starbase cap, but it does not make any change with disgusting cost-efficiency of platforms.
