Description:

This is an experimental mod that (maybe) reduce path-finder lag due to gateways (and L-gate) in late game.

What it does?

Gateways are divided to Nexus Gate and Node Gate.

This allows path-finder to have far more simplified calculations, as it can prevent potential loops that can be caused by Vanilla gateway mechanism.

How it works
* Node connects Nexus
* Nexus connects to Node.

If the empire owns disabled gateway, empire can decide to restore disabled to one to either nexus, or node.

Additional Adjustments

Furthermore, this mod also limits foreign empire use of your own gateway, allowing access only to empires with certain diplomatic relations. This allows reduction of by-pass calculation by simply reducing amount of calculation demand. Less folks using gate will obviously reduce calculation :v.

Moreover, same limit is applied to L-gates. L-gate is one of MAJOR cause of lag, because literary EVERYONE has access to L-gate once it is re-activated. Every-single-freaks-using-l-gate causes so much lag, so this mod forces only the empire with specific relation with, or hostile to, Terminal Controller, to be allowed to use L-gate.

To have access to foreign empire’s gate one must :
* be in non-aggression-pact with gate owner
* be in defensive pact with gate owner
* be in federation with gate owner
* is subject of gate owner
* is overlord of gate owner, and gate owner is loyal to overlord

For L-gates, Hostiles also gains access to it :
* allowing empires to access Gray Tempest infested Terminal
* allowing empire that is at war with Terminal Controller to exploit L-gate
* allowing Crisis to exploit L-gate

Gateway Node everywhere!

Unlike Nexus Gate, Node Gate can be built in anywhere that is occupied with starbase.
You can build gate in other empires too! However, owner of system in question, will have control of access.
IMPORTANT :
If you are building Gateway Outside of your Empire, you MUST order to finish construction as soon as construction sight is finished, otherwise, ownership of construction site will be transfer to system owner, not allowing you to finish construction! (which normally takes 7 days to happen though.)

Further Recommendations:

* Pathfinder makes tons of lag. However, the biggest cause of lag actually comes from species calculations.
* More species existing in galaxy means more lag. Like serious lag.
* Using mod that purges Xeno-Compatibility reduces lag heavily by preventing creation of too much species.
* I strongly recommend y’all to have minimal primitives setting, as each primitive has its own species, and AI will almost always enlighten or invade them, releasing tons-of-additional-species into game: more lag!
* Amount of pops actually do not cause important lag. However, planets do somewhat, but amount of planet itself is not that big cause: problem is, more planet with multi-species causing more species lag.
