MisadventuresVG is proud to present… The Extended Army Mod

This mod has been developed to give players more early game options when forming their invasion armies.

Currently in the vanilla game, players spend much of the early game with the standard "Assault Army". These units serve the player for quite some time before additional recruitment options become available.

What appeared to be missing to me is the idea that empires might have different tiers of professional military units already in existence within their civilizations. This mod serves to flesh out that idea with units having evening increasing levels of bonuses and different charactertistics at an increasing level of cost, while still allowing mid to late game units to be still relevant for recruitment.

New units introduced in this mod are;

Recon – Lightly armed but precise unit
Rangers – Regularly armed but with higher morale unit
Marines – Heavily armed, higher morale unit but not so precise unit
SpecOps – Specially armed, very high morale unit with highly precise unit
Elite – So powerful they make the SpecOps guys cry with envy

This mod has been developed to be small, simple able to sit ideally along side other similar mods without interference or patches being required.
