A names list derived from ‘The Culture’ series by the late Iain M. Banks, originally by Mephane and expanded by r/TheCulture. Best played with no ship prefixes (e.g. ISS,) as the ships come pre-loaded with their own designations. You will find different designations scattered outside where you might expect, representing the happy way in which Culture ships modify themselves and their capabilities from the get-go.
