Fallen Empires Expanded 2 for Stellaris version 2.6.x

Fallen Empires Expanded 2 improves upon the Fallen Empires of Stellaris, to ensure that one of the best game features is not squandered through neglect. Through adding new personality types and attributes, this mod breathes more diversity and character into Fallen Empires, and adds new challenges along the way.

A new save game will be required to experience the best of Fallen Empires Expanded 2.

◢ Increase max # of Fallen Empires

Unmodded Stellaris can only support up to four fallen empires, even on largest galaxy presets.
Fallen Empires Expanded fixes this issue, overriding the artificial fallen empire limit. You can have up to 10 different fallen empires in one galaxy. Enough to satisfy the staunchest of masochists.

◢ Map Tweaks and Changes

The galaxy generation options have been altered to allow additional Marauder Empires to spawn, and modifies the clustering options to try to address the problems caused when too many empires spawn too close together.

◢ New Ethos for Fallen Empires

Additional ethics variants for fallen empires, each with its unique traits.
Fanatic Militarists – They are equally threatened and impressed when lesser empires seek to challenge their military dominance.
Hive Minds – Beware the Somnolent Swarm, when it wakes it shall be…hungry.
Ascended Spiritualists – Favoured of the Shroud, they believe that even if the galaxy is destroyed, they shall live forever, which makes them exceptionally dangerous should the galaxy be threatened.

◢ New Unique Fallen Empires

Prescripted fallen empires with predetermined ethos, species, and/or personalities.
Terran Coalition – Earth-based Xenophile Human FE
Sol Imperium – Mars-based Alien Xenophobic FE
Azalthyn Hive – Hive-Minded FE

◢ New Subject types of Fallen Empires

The more slaves the merrier.
Puppet States – Proxy expansionist empire for fanatic militarist FEs
Levy States – Food slave for Hive Minded FEs

◢ New Fallen Empire Homeworlds

Handcrafted homewords for fallen empires, each with its own narrative.

Eternal Citadel – Xenophobes
Ethereal Bastion – Xenophiles

Fallen Empire Expanded pre-emptively checks the existence of Earth-based human empires (CoM or UNE) before spawning in a human fallen empire.

There will only be one Sol in your galaxy.
