Mod details
A bunch of animated portraits I liked from different mods, collected here for myself for easy reuse. The aim is to remove everything else from the original mods besides the portraits themselves – no gameplay changes, traits, AI-s, rules.. from the original mods. Just the portraits. I also trimmed some of the added species down a bit. No purple colored ‘grey men’ or obviously mismatched clothes.
There is a duplicate species section ‘BioFake’ – this is not a bug. It contains the same portraits as in the Mechanical and Lithoid sections, but these all have a BIOLOGICAL archetype, allowing you to use them for building regular biological races. If you run into any problems, please drop a line in the comments. Using Mechanical and Lithoid species requires corresponding expansions. However if these are not available, it is still possible to use the portraits on BIOLOGICAL species.

The mod also adds a bunch of room backgrounds. I tried to limit myself to the ones that look like they can fit with the overall theme of the game and are not just pretty pictures. I also skipped any images that included items that should obviously be moving but infact are static due to the backdrop being only a picture. Content reused from:
