Stellaris Involved Policies

A series of custom policies that allow you to tweak the economy of your empire by trading off bonuses and happiness.
Standalone element of a larger mod I’ll be relasing soon-ish. Most factors are adapted from the original stellaris + evolved.

Polices list

————Food focus————

Balanced Focus – no bonuses or penalties.

Low food restrictions – Food comsumption -15%, pop happiness -10%

Rationing – Food comsumption -50% pop happiness -30%

Extra Food Rations – Food Consumption +35% Pop Happiness + 10%

Lavish Food Distribution – Food consumption +100% Pop Happiness +35%

————Production Focus————

Balanced Focus – No bonuses

Minerals Focus – Minerals +10%, energy production -15%

Energy Focus – Minerals -15% Energy production +10%

———— Business Ownership————

State Controlled – Energy and minerals +2% ; govt ethic attraction +10%

Corporation Controlled – Energy and minerals +12%, govt. ethic attraction -25% (Unavailable for fanatic authoritarians)

Civilian controlled – Energy and minerals +5%, govt ethic attraction -10%

————Worker Schedule————

8 hours – no bonuses

six hours – -10% energy and minerals, +10% pop happiness

ten hours – +10% energy and minerals, -10% pop happiness

twelve hours – +20% energy and minerals, -25% pop happiness.

Normal duties – no bonuses

Total readiness – Ship upkeep +15%, evasion +10%, sensor range +50%, fire rate +7,5% (unavailable for fanatic pacifists)

Low Guard – upkeep -20%, evasion -10%, Sensor range -20%, fire rate -10% (unavailable for fanatic militarists)

———— Fleet Focus ————

Several bonuses under these classes alow you to trade between numbers or quality of ships. Quality focus = more expensive ships, better at combat, quanitity focus = cheaper ships, weaker at combat individually. Requires a new specific technology for unlocking

————Social Policy————

Social repression – pop happiness -10%, ethic attraction +5%, slave unrest -20% (unavailable to egalitarians)

Total Freedom – pop happiness +5%, govt ethic atraction -5%, slave unrest +30% (unavailable to authoritarians)

Balanced policy – no bonuses

———— Centralization Policy ————

Allows you to trade between more sectors and influence/unity bonuses or less influence and unity for more core worlds and less sectors. Several degrees.
Requires adaptive bureaucracy tech

———— Leader Election ————

Merit and loyalty – no bonus.

Merit only – skill levels +1, influence cost +50% (unavaliable to fanatic militarists)

Loyalty only – skil XP gain -25%, influence cost +40% (unavailable to fanatic pacifists)

———— Taxation Level ————

Balanced – no bonuses

Very high taxes – Energy +20%, happiness -20% (unavailable to fanatic egalitarians and egalitarians)

High taxes – energy +10%, pop happienss -10% (unavailable to fanatic egalitarians)

Low Taxes – energy -10%, happiness +10% (unavailable to fanatic authoritarians)

No taxes – energy – 50%, happiness +30% (unavailable to authoritarians)

Neutral education – happiness +2%, leader influence cost +20%

State ideology – happiness -5%, leader influence cost -20%, govt ethic attraction +5% (unavaliable to egalitarians)

Open minded education – trade attractiveness +10%, xeno immigration pull +20% (unavailable to xenophobes)

Scientifc minded education – leader influence cost +20%, all research +5%
