Supports game version 2.3.x

SCE is an extensive overhaul of Strike Craft, making them useful and splitting them into a variety of roles.

General Changes

All Strike Craft variants have fast launch times, longer launch ranges than vanilla, faster speeds, and overall better stats to improve their performance in combat. The projectile limits were increased. Strike Craft height variation and the randomness of their formation were raised as well.

New Technologies

Currently, there are new technologies added to unlock these variants and buff them.

New Strike Craft Variants

Fighters – Autocannon GFX.
Role – Multipurpose.
Behavior – Offensive, no specific targeting priorities.
Targetable – Strike Craft, Guided Weapons, and Ships.

Interceptors – Autocannon GFX.
Role – Carrier Support.
Behavior – Stays near fleet, does not attack ships.
Targetable – Strike Craft, and Guided Weapons. Prioritizes guided weapons first before Strike Craft.

Torpedo Bombers – Missile GFX.
Role – Anti-Capital.
Behavior – Prioritizes ships with low evasion due to its low tracking.
Targetable – Ships.

Gunships – Flak GFX.
Role – Heavy Fire Support: Can target strike craft and ships but not guided weapons.
Behavior – Prioritizes attacking ships with the highest shields in the enemy fleet.
Targetable – Strike Craft, and Ships.

Compatibility

SCE should be compatible with most mods, I personally use NSC2 for carriers and haven’t noticed any issues. Please report any bugs you find below.
