Description:

Note : Certain voices in the sample video are louder than normal because some of the portraits in-game have lower volume setting for those voices, so if you are a headphone user, I suggest you to lower volume by a bit.

Ever wish the non-humanoid species talk some weird random languages you do not comprehend when they talk to you? Well this mod may be for you. It is my first published workshop mod, so bear with me if the qualities are not good.
—————————————————————————————
Background

Originally, this mod started out as a small project where I tried to make Reptilian species use protoss language, since the Protoss 2.0 mod uses reptalian sounds. Then I decided to try to make all non-humanoid speaks some weird alien languages.

Afterall, I hate how my highy educated, arrogant space foxes still snort like some pre-sapient…boars…

—————————————————————————————
Currently, this mod changes the following :

Mammalian > KOTOR Twi’lek Huttese Language
Avian > My own crafted language of highly-pitched, echoing comedian
Reptilian > SWTOR Khem Val Dashade Language
Fungoid > Kael’thas Elven Language, altered to make them sound very alienish/psionic-based
Arthopoid > HL2 Vortigaunt
Molluscoid > Universe At War Habitat Walker Language
Plantoid > Skyrim Dragon Langua..Tongue, slowed down and pitched down to sound like…trees?

Avian Machine > Base Humanoid Voice heavily altered to sound like Mass Effect Geths
Molluscoid Machine > Base Human Voice heavily altered to sound something like Mass Effect Reapers
Arthopoid Machine > Base female Humanoid Voice modified to sound like a machine
Mammalian Machine > KOTOR Twilek Huttese Voice altered to sound like B1 Battledroids…I am evil yes
Reptilian Machine > Base Humanoid Voice altered to sound like Mass Effect Glyph, but less mentlegen
Plantoid Machine > Same as Organic Plantoid, but faster and more energetic with huming sounds.
Fungoid Machine > Starcraft Dragoon-like base humanoid who loves to complain.

ADDITIONALLY, if you subscribe to my other mod "Stellaris Enhanced Sound Project", the human will also start using multiple voices instead of sticking to one single voice per phenotype.

What this mod currently doesn’t change

– Meme-worthy portraits (The cutes one, like space snails, starfishes, geckos etc. etc.) – I prefer to let them stay that way, unless people want me to also find some worthy voices for them.
—————————————————————————————

The volume of these voices may change if people think they’re too loud/quiet/inconsistent. All voices are also not final, and may be changed.

I may release them seperately for each species if enough people want them.
—————————————————————————————
Compability:

It changes only the base game’s species diplomatic screen’s sounds. So the only thing that will conflict with this mod is anything that also changes them.

However, this mod doesn’t go well with mods that give non-humanoid species female variations…because you know…they will still sound very manly.

This mod contains files intended for Synthetic Dawn DLC, but I think those without the DLC can still use this mod just fine. Let me know if that’s not the case and I will add SD as a requirement.

FAQ :
Q: Why do these aliens sound so angry and wants to eat your empire
A: As the Xenophobe Advisor said "Under no circumstances must the xeno be trusted, it would lie, it would cheat, and it’d do anything it it’s power to undermine the efforts of those who in truth, are it’s superior. Jokes aside, I find it more fun to make them sound like that way, since let’s be honest, their portraits all look very ANGRY to me.

Q: Why do they all have male voices?
A: Non-Humanoid only has only around 5 generic snorts/screechs and they do not respect genders so I just went with male voices since they are easier to find. Besides most non-humanoid speicies look mostly male to me lol.

Q: Of all the voices you can pick, why Kael’thas or Thrall? This is not WARCRAFT IN SPACE
A: I tried to make them not sound too much like original voice, if you have better voices that I can use, please do offer the suggestions. The only criteria is that they should not be real-world languages and they should be spoken by the same voice, and have at least 5-7 speeches.

Q: But I really hate that particular one! Can I just get rid of it and keep the rest?
A: Very well, you can go to Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent2819901385175538, open the zip file and remove the specific phenomes you want to get rid off. Bear in mind that everytime I update the mod, they will return to haunt you with their angry, xenophobic remarks of how your empire’s ethics must not be allowed to pollute the galaxy.
