Mod Contents

This mod adds 108 traits for species. This contains 20 special characteristic traits, 6 basic characteristic traits, 51 ordinary traits in total 77 traits for biological species and 8 special characteristic traits, 2 basic characteristic traits, 21 ordinary traits in total 31 robomodding traits. These traits will not affect empire directly unlike civics, only affect POPs’ attributes as vanilla traits do. There are powerful traits which cost 4+ but their bonus would be less than you might expect or may have critical penalties. I hope this would be helpful to balance a late game by removing extreme POP optimizations.

Alternative Addon

There are 8 basic characteristic traits in this mod which are dummy traits to giving you bonus/penalty on the trait points. These traits would indicate you how gifted the species are (for RP purposes). But some of you may feel they are like balance breakers, ikr 😀 so I created an alternative addon mod changing those traits: VitesseDL’s Expanded Traits – Alternative Addon.

Compatibility

This mod does not modify any original Stellaris files so should be compatible with any other mods.

Recently I realised this mod cannot provide enough traits to make diverse species. I launched a new project for a new trait mod. The new trait mod might contain at least 200+ distinctive traits. Coming soon in late November or early December.
