Description:
Add some Science Fiction immersion into Stellaris with this mod, when over 40 of Sci Fi’s beloved races go to war. This is the Modded Ship version, check link below for the Default Ship version.

MOD ON HIATUS:

My gaming soul is just not in Stellaris atm, try as I might I just cant get back into it I am sorry. The economic changes while fantastic where not enough for me, I want the diplomacy drastically improved. I am putting this mod on hiatus for a while.

This mod is open work and free for anyone to use the material. *Please note I can only authorize my own work and not that of the dependencies, please see those authors for permission.

Description:

Use your Vorlon armada to lay waste to the Romulan Star Empire, master the subtle art of diplomacy through superior firepower as your Scarran fleet deals with those parasitic Goa’uld System Lords. Will the clone armies of the Sontarans be a match for the Clone troopers of The Empire. With Species 8472 intent on cleansing this dimension of non-fluidic matter, when it runs up against your Gene Stealer’s will you shift the mighty Tyranid Hive focus, from decadent Trade Federation, to this new food source?

Don’t like all the Mods or Use only a few Races::

Try the Lite version (heavily reduce mod dependence) with the default ships via this link – Sci Fi Prescripted Races Lite – Default Ships.

  1. Start Stellaris with all the mods enabled,
  2. Save any or all the races to your custom file (they will appear at the top), Don’t worry about duplicates, you don’t have to rename them,
  3. Restart Stellaris, with any or all of the mods disabled,
  4. Your custom races should appear with errors, fix, adjust and edit your custom races to your hearts content.
  5. This process can be used with any mod.

This mod is not intended to be a standalone mod, you could say it is like the glue that binds together all of those wonderful mods to create an immersive environment. This mod would not be possible without the wonderful work by the other mod makers, please see the required mods, give them a sub and like to say thank you. To the mod authors, thank you guys, love your work.

I have tried to stick to canon were I could, but some liberties had to be taken, racial images, traits, ship models for example. Of special note, I have made no effort to balance the races, immersion came first. If you have any suggestions I would love hearing them, post in the comments below please. Corrections, compatibility, canon, race suggestions, mod suggestions etc…

Compatibility:
  • Compatible with Stellaris Update 2.03 – You can safely ignore the out of date mod warning.
  • Updates are unlikely to be save game compatible.
  • Should be compatible with other Race mods.
  • Please check the required mods further compatibility requirements.
  • The mods listed in my collection link above are compatible with all the required mods.
  • Belt Mod & Planetary Diversity – There may be some bugs with the compatibility of these mods, nothing major, they are still playable. Please see the mod page for The Belts Compatibility patch with Planetary Diversity for further details.

For version updates and Design Decisions, please see discussion/changes tabs at the top.

Ship Models

Some of the ship models are missing sections and/or models for NSC ship types, it makes for some interesting looking ships, but they work fine. The Legend of Galactic Heroes Ships mod introduces a new ship, LoGHFlagship01, best to just ignore it, I want to use the brilliant ship models from that mod, so I have left it in.

The following mods are missing ship models for NSC mod and default ships Colossus and/or Titan. *Note these mods still work fine, they just get default race ships as replacement models, breaks immersion a little, but hey! its worth it, the rest of the models are sexy as.

  • Stargate – Asuran Ships, Stargate – Goa’uld Ships, Stargate – Tau’ri Ships, Stargate – Wraith Ships
  • Legend of Galactic Heroes Ships
  • WAIN NSC
  • MCR The Expanse Ships.
