Description:

2.0.2 (5e2f)

Status Quo is suppose to allow partial gains when a war cannot be resolved completely on either side, with both sides taking what they currently have. And yet, when you status quo in a subjugation war, the game acts as though it never happened.

This mod makes it so that when a subjugation war ends in status quo, all fully occupied systems, by either side, are converted into their own empires, with the occupiers’ ethos and authority, and are made subjects of their occupiers.

Steam isn’t letting me upload images so:
Occupied Territories[image.ibb.co] -> Vassal[image.ibb.co]

Notes
  • There will be a big freeze when the war resolves as the calculations are being made. It’s never crashed for me but I’m uncertain it would never
  • There must be at least one fully occupied, colonized system for the subject to be created
  • The defender will receive claims on all lost systems. The attacker will not.
  • The defender’s subject will always be a tributary while the attacker will receive a subject of their war goal’s design.
  • Fully occupied systems are considered to be systems with a controlled star base and no colonized planets or a system with all colonized planets occupied.
  • An occupation must be made by the war leader or a subject of the war leader for it to be valid. Allied occupations will not be considered and will lead to the system be considered not fully occupied.
