Description:
For Stellaris v2.0.2+

No longer needed for versions after v2.0.2, you can use it if you play on older versions of Stellaris.

Description

Why do I have to be directly neighbouring an empire just to declare them a rival?

Just makes no sense to me. If you feel the same, this is the mod for you.

This lifts the restriction on rivals so you can just rival anyone anywhere in the galaxy. Go out there and make some enemies!

Save Game Compatibility

Should be save to install and remove during running games (I had no problems so far).
The Rival restrictions are determined while playing the game so there should be no issues.

Mod Compatibility

Should be compatible with anything as it does not modify vanilla files, only overwrites the rivals part of the game rules. If something else overwrites that, it might clash with this mod.

My other mod, Rival Just Anyone changes the same part of the file (as all restrictions are handled there), so they are not compatible. Choose one or the other.
